Zeki Mokhtarzada is a trailblazing technology innovator. His career highlights include contributing to the creation of the world's first web-based operating system during the dot-com era in 1999. He co-founded Free Webs (later known as Webs), where he served as an engineer, architect, and CTO, overseeing its technological evolution to serve tens of millions of monthly visitors. Vistaprint acquired Webs in 2011. Zeki's entrepreneurial spirit also led him to co-found Truebill, a subscription management tool, in 2016. From 2019 to 2023, he served as CTO at Tenovos Corporation in the Digital Asset Management space. In addition to his various ventures, Zeki actively advises and invests in early-stage technology companies. He proudly holds an alumni status from the University of Maryland. Zeki, with his brothers, established the Mokhtarzada Hatchery Program at the Department of Computer Science. Established in 2021, the Mokhtarzada Hatchery supports University of Maryland students in conceptualizing and launching startups.
