Dr. Yang serves as the New Bright Professor of Engineering, Chair Professor and Head of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Yang is also the founding director of Noah’s Ark Lab, and his research interests include data mining and artificial intelligence. Yang is a Fellow of the IEEE, AAAI, AAAS, IAPR, and is an ACM Distinguished Scientist.
