02.09.2025 09:58 Gitlab upgrade Sunday Feb 9 from 10am to 11 am.

GitLab will undergo software updates on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. During this time, the server may be intermittently unavailable. We appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our services.

01.07.2020 09:28 Some services are unavailable due to Virtualization Cluster Issues.

Some services running on virtual machines, including some Junkfood cluster machines, talks.cs, officehours.cs, and personal VMs, are not available due to this issue. We have escalated the problem with our vendor. We do not currently have an estimated time that services will be restored.

If your VM is running, we expect it to continue running, but we recommend that you do not restart the system, as it might not be able to reboot.

The Grades Server will unavailable during this time. IF you have issues after the maintenance window ends, try clearing your DNS cache.

  • CSD internal (NOT CSD G-Suite) mail server and webmail outage

We are aware of issues reaching resources through NAT. Admins are investigating.

06.19.2019 20:55 Network Maintenance, June 19, 8pm-12am

This outage has been scheduled to apply in important patch to our firewalls and NAT. While our firewall and NAT systems are redundant, users can expect momentary disruptions in internet and campus connectivity - including outbound connections from the Iribe Center and AV Williams datacenter, as well as temporary connection loss from off-campus to CSD systems. Connections between the Iribe Center and AV Williams will not be affected.

03.14.2019 22:18 Unscheduled network maintenance beginning at 8am. No downtime is expected.

Network engineers will be activating connections to the Iribe Center starting at 8 AM. We do not expect this to cause an outage, but we will be monitoring for any unexepected issues.
