• The idea to create PFIDB came through a dicussion on Echoes - Pink Floyd mailing list. This list is maintained by bear.

• Echoes Pink Floyd FAQ contains a lot of very useful information about Pink Floyd and band members. Some of FAQ information was directly incorparated into PFIDB. Current maintainer of the Echoes Pink Floyd FAQ is Matt Denault.

• Vernon Fitch is the maintainer of Pink Floyd Archives. Information from the Archives , as well as from Vernon's A Collector's Guide To Pink Floyd Videos is widely used (and linked to) in the database.
