Stand-Alone Version

Installation

1. Save the .tar.gz file on your hard disk.
2. Unpack the software. For UNIX use gunzip and then tar -xvf. For Windows simply use WinZip.
3. Run the Land Cover Visualization Tool. Your current directory should be the directory where you unpacked the software. For UNIX, make sure Netscape is your path. Type :

   % sh ./mocha-demo

   For Windows, set the environment variable BROWSER to the path of your web browser. For example:

   > set BROWSER="C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE"

   If your path contains spaces, make sure to enclose the path with quotes. To verify that you set the variable correctly, type:

   > %BROWSER%

   It should bring up the browser at this point. Now run the demo:

   > mocha-demo
