Client Application: Land Cover Visualization Tool
To find data using MOCHA, there are four query parameters found in the window above. Data Sources lists the four different data sites that can be queried in the MOCHA demo. To choose and query across multiple sites, hold down Control while clicking a selection.
Data types is used to select which types of data to query. To choose multiple data types, hold down Control in the same way as for Data Sources.
A date range can also be specified in the Start Date and End Date text boxes.
Coverage
Once the parameters are set, the Coverage button can be pushed to
display the results of the query on the Map Window. Orange polygons will be
drawn on the Map Window to show where the data is located on the Earth.
Zoom
To zoom into a certain location, click and drag a query selection
rectangle on the Map Window and push the Zoom In button. Zoom out
with the Zoom Out button.
Query
To get detailed information about the coverage shown on the Map Window,
click and drag a query selection window on the Map Window and push
the Query button. A new window will appear with the results of the
query.
