Mohammad Hajiaghayi receives Young Investigator Award

Assistant Professor Mohammad Hajiaghayi has won a Young Investigator Award (YIP) from the Navy. His proposal was one of twenty-one awards selected from more than 270 applications. Recipients will receive approximately $170,000 in annual research over a three year period. A list of the 2011 YIP winners can be found at http://go.usa.gov/2mC. Mohammad was the only Computer Scientist selected for this prestigious award.
