Other Requirements

The experimental design we present assumes that the reading techniques will be tested on 4 documents:

• 2 generic documents are provided in this lab package. They are intended to be used in a large number of environments in order to provide some basis of comparison for many different runs of this experiment.
• 2 domain-specific documents are not intended to be re-used outside the specific experimental environment. They will, however, provide a deeper insight into the effect of PBR in the environment in question. If the experiment is undertaken in an industrial context, the domain-specific documents allow additional insight to be gained into the application of PBR in the host organization.

Time: Our design assumes that 2 days are available for the experiment, though less time may be required if domain-specific documents are not used.

Place: We also assume that 2 separate rooms can be used while the experiment is being run. This is necessary so that reviewers using each of the perspectives can receive their training without being exposed to any of the other perspectives.
