I am a first year masters student at the University of Maryland, College Park. I completed my undergraduate studies at UMD majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. My passion for solving real-world problems fuels my motivation of pursuing a PhD program to further deepen my expertise, create tangible impact and contribute to the field's advancement.I am also very passionate about mentoring and teaching.
Breathing Segmentation and Analysis: Developed state of art online and offline breathing segmentation algorithms from a sensor collecting at 25 hz. This classification algorithm facilitates the unique features representation of breaths and the analysis of various patterns. My research aims to build a personalized model that detects physical and mental states and possibly provide corrective action. For instance, data collected on indivudals with respiratory illnesses enables early detection algorithm and prevention of various illnesses including influenza, covid,or asthma attacks... Additionaly, accelerometer data enhances posture detecton and Human Activity Recognition (HAR).
Building Visualization: Created the building dashboard that connects the API and eases visualization of various sensor readings (airflow, temperature, co2...) in selected rooms and dates. Current work involves integration of dashboard into AR visualization tools that allows technicians and maintenance ease of information retrieval.
Restructed the aviation parser that takes binary data from the planes and stores them into appropriate data formats to ease the integration of machine learning analysis tools
