Piotr Mardziel (Peter)

I am a post-doc (recently graduated) advised by Mike Hicks within the Programming Languages group (PLUM) of the Computer Science department at the University of Maryland, College Park.

  • keywords: programming languages, information security, game theory

  • interests: My interest center around the modeling, measuring, and limiting (adversary) knowledge in the context of information security. I'm also interested in probabilistic programming which serves as a convenient tool for these tasks, and secure multi-party computation which is abound in knowledge-related problems. See below for a brief introduction to these topics.

  • I'm presently looking for a position (post-doc or otherwise) that aligns with at least some of my interests.

  • I like dogs and making pretty pictures. I always wanted to make a computer game and, more recently, to learn haskell. Against my better judgment, I'm attempting to combine these two.
