Diptych

Diptych is a second-window app to make it easier to manage large courses in Instructure's Canvas LMS. It is for instructors and TAs/graders, and lets you keep track of who is grading what, current grading queues, and more.

Diptych is available as binaries for the following platforms (all will be available for the latest version, though it might take a few days to get them built):

Linux

v1.2.0

Rename this file diptych, or symlink to it. You should be able to run diptych from the command line.

Windows

v1.2.0

Unzip the file in your preferred installation directory. You should be able to double-click on diptych to launch the app.

Mac

Currently, you will need to build this from source, as I don't have a signing certificate that allows for others to run it.

Chrome

v1.2.0

• Unzip the file
• In Chrome, navigate to chrome://extensions
• Enable "Developer mode"
• Click on "Load unpacked"
• Select the unzipped directory
• Under the extensions icon (the puzzle piece), click the pin icon next to diptych. Clicking on the diptych icon will open the app in a new tab.
