[Disclaimer:] My personal emotions about Peradeniys is complicated. This article may seem like I idolize/romanticize Peradeniya. As a matter of fact, I don't. I believe it is an imperfect institution with a bunch of cool stuff about it. I firmly believe that we should not overlook the issues in Peradeniya just because it has some cool stuff -- which one may romanticize. That being said, let us move to then actual objective of this blog post. [Why do I have to keep writing these disclaimers? I should outgrow this asap!]
Peradeniya has been the theme (or the backdrop) of a huge number of artwork in Sri Lanka. This post is an attempt to put together a list of such songs. The songs will not be in any particular order. However, I might point out to the ones that happen to be my favorites.
