The 44th Annual "March for Life" rally and march took place on Friday, Jnaury 27th, 2017 in Washington, DC. The rally was preceded by an opening with musical artist Transform DJs starting around 11:30am, by which time the National Mall already had quite a crowd assembled. The rally program featured a wide range of speakers, including Vice President of the United States of America Mike Pence and Senior Counselor to President Trump Kellyanne Conway.

One of the high-profile speakers at the rally was Kellyanne Conway, Senior Counselor to President Trump. She addressed the crowd, and was greeted by a short but strong audience response when she declared she was pro-life. She went on to speak encouraging words to the audience about expressing, and standing up for their position regarding Roe v. Wade.

Following Conway was Vice President Mike Pence, who was introduced to the crowd by his wife Karen. Pence took the stage to a chant of "USA! USA! USA!. He spoke to being the first Vice President on the country to attend this rally, and spoke on his views of the pro-life movement and the impact he feels that has had on Congressional elections as well as the Presidential election.

As the rally took place, marchers assembled just north of the National Mall on Constitution Avenue. Just as there were many people at the rally, there were many people lining up while the rally was still taking place. Once the rally had finished, people joined those already in place for the march down Constitution Avenue, towards the US Capitol Building, and then continued on all the way to the Supreme Court building beyond it.
