I got my BS at Clemson University with a dual degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. During senior year undergrad, I worked on forestry point cloud processing and visualization. Here at UMD, I continued to do research on geospatial computing. I worked on a project applying implicit neural representations to digital elevation maps with Prof Leila De Floriani and Haoan Feng. However, I am still very much in the process of discovering what I am interested in and deciding on a research area.
The research atmosphere and community built by CS PhD students at UMD is really phenomenal. I suppose that's because there are so many of us supporting each other. It encourages me to be more independent on my own research and pursue the research that I want to do & believe in.
During my free time, I enjoy going running, reading fictions, and watching movies.
