July 1st
The University of Maryland
College Park, MD USA

About

The CS Pathways Workshop at the University of Maryland-College Park will be a one-day workshop for discussions on academic pathways Maryland students may take though high school and higher education in computer science and related fields. Hosted by the College Park Computer Science Department, the workshop will include discussions between high school, community college and UMD faculty, administrators and advisors on our mutual courses and how to best coordinate so students succeed in all our computer science programs, including the CMSC major at College Park. Along with curriculum, the program will include discussions on topics such as how we can improve diversity in our programs, and what resources exist in Maryland to improve our courses and programs.
