The goal of this week’s lectures is to develop a small programming language for manipulating and storing matrices.

I’ve put up some notes on programming in ruby. It goes over the basics we discussed today.

This slide deck from last semester also gives details behind Ruby that will provide another perspective.

The implementation developed so far is published here so you can download and play with it. Please feel free to expand and ask questions!

Tomorrow we’re going to talk about blocks in Ruby. We’ll also finish up a large deal of the matrix calculator that we’re developing.
