In this game, the player is put into the pilot seat of a biplane during a dogfight. The gameplay is free-for-all and the main objective is to shoot down enemy NPCs (non-player character) while avoiding getting shot down. The player uses their daydream controller to pilot the plane and fire the guns. The player progresses through levels, where each level increases the number of planes, but also increases the player’s starting health.

Color deficiency is when the photoreceptors in the retina of the eye are slightly deformed such that they cannot see certain wavelengths. People with color deficiency struggle to see either red-green wavelengths or blue-yellow wavelengths. While color deficiency does not typically impact lives severely, it deprives those with it of seeing the world in the same light that others do. Solutions have already been created in the form of special ‘sunglasses’ that modify incoming light to more closely map to what an actual person would see; however, these glasses can end up being hundreds of dollars.

Our app uses a simple filter that modifies the images it takes in from the camera in real time so that a user with color deficiency can see what a normal person would see. For instance, if you climbed to the peak of a mountain and you want to see exactly what it would look like, you could pull out your phone and see it.

The inspiration was to build this classic party game and make it remove some of its major cons. This app removes the setup of plastic cups full of water, mopping the floor at the inevitable spill, and resetting the game after every round. Now that this classic party game is on a VR app we take any and all hassle out of preparation.

This is version 1 of the app and has limited functionality, it will scan for a plane, set down a formation of cups, and each ball that makes a cup will score you a point. The app uses Unity, AR Foundation, and other XR plugins. In the future, the app will use Google Cloud Anchors allowing the sharing of feature points to give the game multiplayer functionality and letting opposing players see each other’s boards.

This demo of our AR fitness tool offers a glimpse into what can be achieved in personal fitness helpers by using AR capabilities of modern smartphones to provide users with a more immersive experience, almost providing the sense of a real personal trainer. By injecting life sized animations into each user’s respective space, consumers will be able to visualize how to properly and efficiently employ their workout techniques without having to pay money for a workout instructor. While it is possible to look up a video of exercise techniques, offering users the ability to see the proper technique within their own workout environment adds another dimension of assistance, as seeing the animation within a familiar context will be more helpful in allowing users to grasp the small nuances of proper form in workouts.

In more complex applications of using AR as a fitness tool, motion tracking could be employed to provide real time constructive feedback using the smartphone’s camera. More advanced plane detection could also be useful in offering a wider range of workouts to be practiced. Our small application is merely a preview into the vast opportunity in the application of augmented reality to personal training tools.

Watching live video game matches is becoming increasingly more popular. Esports leagues are popping up left and right, generating millions in revenue. With our AR spectator app designed for a tank fighting game, we aim to add a whole new level of immersion for viewers and fans.

The app will run on most modern smartphones, and uses the AR capabilities of the phone to track and map a hologram of the match into the real world. Users can watch the match on their desk, or place themselves in a world space where the battle unfolds around them.

It is a replica of the Fruit Ninja game. We have fruit prefabs instantiate and drop, while our controller (the sword) has a collider that when a collision of the sword and a fruit occurs, it destroys the fruit prefab and increases the player's score. There is a timer counting down from 15 seconds and a scorekeeper that shows how much score does the player gets.

VR Triwizard Tournament, The Triwizard Maze Edition is a spin-off recreation of the third task, the Triwizard Maze, that Harry Potter and his fellow champions faced in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire during the Triwizard Tournament. In this enchanting experience, you’ll get the chance to navigate through a maze filled with riddles. Be warned! Mess up once, and you’ll be eliminated immediately!!!

In this game, players will be able to move around in a maze, running into riddles blocking the path to the end. If the player is on the right path, they’ll run into riddles on their way. The player will have exactly 10 minutes to solve all riddles and make it to the end of the maze.
