on Andriod OS which allows the individuals to look for food
pantries on a map by searching with zip code or address.
In addition, this app allows individuals to create accounts by
selecting their type of identity. In this app, users are
required to sign-up and create their account with their email
and set a password of their choice. .Also, the users are required
to provide their name and phone number at the time of creating
the account with Food Pantry. Also, the users are asked to choose their
identity which will define their user-type either as a volunteer,
pantry owner or recipient. Depending on users type, it limits
users access to few features of the application.
For example, a person who has their identity as pantry owner
will have access to create pantry and events, and this information
will be saved in the database. After Successfully creating the
events or registering the pantry, then this information can be
found by users on the map provided in this application. Further, at
the time of signing in to the form, the users will be asked
to log in with their email and password. Moreover, we are you using
firebase database to store users and other information.
By default, all users will have access to put pantries in
the favorites section.
