We are extremely appreciative and thankful to our corporate sponsors for their support to CS at UMD:
1. The Appian Scholarship: A $5,000 scholarship is available for junior or senior-level standing (at least at the 300 level of CS coursework) CS majors with a record of academic excellence. A passion for technology and interest in Appian’s worksocial platform are key parts to a successful application package.
2. The Dante Scholarship for Innovation: A $5,000 scholarship is available to sophomore and junior CS majors (at least at the 200 level of CS coursework) who have a demonstrated capability for innovation both within and beyond the classroom.
3. The Booz Allen Scholarship: A $5,000 scholarship is available for CS students who are scheduled to receive an undergraduate degree by May 2015. Demonstrated interests and achievements in the areas of big data, cloud computing, or cybersecurity are key parts to a successful application.
Thank you to Appian, Dante and Booz Allen for supporting CS education at UMD!
