Geometric Algorithms & Applications,
Solid Modeling, Virtual Prototyping, Path Planning

Some specific research topics may include: (1) Develop and
investigate computational and geometric models for physically-based
simulations, deformable model using collision detection;
(2) Analyze and develop geometric algorithms for modeling large
scale virtual environments -- simplification, multiresolution hierarchy
generation, level of details switching, etc.;
(3) Develop algorithms and system for path planning and its applications.
