This Histogram Display Tool is a simple .NET application
that can be used to view a histogram of the overall luminosity
of an image (examples below), or of any individual color channel
(examples not shown).
This is a preliminary application created during work
on a digital photography course. It is posted for free for
entertainment purposes.
Figures 1 and 2: Example images loaded in the histogram display tool.
Figures 3 and 4: An example of an image and its histogram,
with and without strict scaling.
When strict scaling if off, "spikes" are truncated on the display.
You can also view the image as seen through the currently selected channel
by checking the view channel box.
You can download either the executable or
a ZIP file containing the executable.
This software is provided for free for entertainment purposes only.
