• After director Michelangelo Antonioni decided to use only three Pink FLoyd songs for the soundtrack of his movie Zabriskie Point(1970), Greatful Dead was one of the bands whose music was added to the soundtrack. In fact, soundtrack to the movie contains "excerpt" from Dark Star credited to Greatful Dead and Love Scene credited to Jerry Garcia

• One of the rumours about the origin of the title of Pink Floyd's Careful With That Axe, Eugene stated that a brother or a cousin of Jerry Garcia, named Eugene had his (or Jerry's) fingers cut with an axe... This is NOT TRUE !!!
