Resubmit your homework #3 project by Wednesday at 6pm, follow these steps.
NOTE that no timelog is necessary. Each student should submit their own
project. You are free to submit the version you submitted previously, or
to modify it based on what you have learned since your first submission.
- Right click on the hw3 project and select Team->Disconnect. From the
dialog that appears, select "Also delete the CVS meta information from the
file system".
- Right click on the hw3 project and select Team->Share Project. When
asked, select the CVS connection that you previously created
to your cs131xxx account.
- Eclipse will then bring to you a new perspective called "Synchronize
View - CVS Workspace". Just go back to the Dr Java perspective.
- Right click on the hw3 project, and select Team->Commit. It will ask you
if you want to add the resources that are not under version control. Select
Yes. You do not need to enter a comment when it asks (just press OK).
NOTE: You do not need to "submit" hw3 with the "Submit Project" option
you did originally (and that option isn't available). For this
project only, we will just grade the last version of the projects committed
to the repository by 6pm on Wednesday. We will go back to the regular
submit process with hw #4.
OR - If for some reason this doesn't work, or you have any trouble that you
don't understand, you can create a .jar file and email it to one of the TAs as
described below:
- Right click on your hw3 project and select Export.
- Select JAR file and press Next
- UNSELECT the checkbox that says "Export generated class files and
resources"
- SELECT the checkbox that says "Export java source files and resources"
- Enter the location and name of the jar file you want to create in the
"JAR file" textbox. You must name your jar file with your linux lab account
name in the format "hw3-cs131xxx.jar". For example, you could enter
"c:\hw3-cs131001.jar"
- Email Nick F. at
cs131036@linuxlab.csic.umd.edu with the .jar file you just made as an
attachment.
