Homework #7: Design (100 points)
Due 4/19/09, 11:59pm

1 (40 points): The Washing Metro train schedule for the red line (weekday, mid-day) can be found here. I've extracted the time table information into a spreadsheet here. Redesign it with the same essential constraints - intended for a single print page that someone would carry with them - taking into account the visual design principles we have discussed in class.

2 (60 points): Now redesign the same information for a web page that is intended to be used on someone's desktop or laptop computer.  Create one or more HTML pages with the same information.  It can be interactive or non-interactive, as you prefer.  You do not need to program the interactivity.  Instead, you must make a medium fidelity prototype where the visual design is complete, but the interactive elements (if there are any) are only described with accompanying text.

Submission

Send your homework as a PDF for part 1 and an HTML file (or files) to the TA with "CMSC 434 HW7" in the subject line.
