  1. What percentage of common mapping sites are used to actually display map content today?  Consider default and optimal (with as much space available for the map as possible) configurations.  Look at MapQuest, Microsoft Live, and Google Maps?
  2. How much of a screen does Nielsen recommend for content and navigation on a web page?
  3. What is "data ink" and "chart junk"?
  4. What did Robert Miller in 1968 say about human response to waiting?
  5. How long did popular/corporate websites take to load in 1999?
  6. Does Nielsen recommend have links that say "click here"?  If not, why not?
  7. Why does Nielsen think that frames are a bad idea?
  8. What do you disagree with since this chapter was written about 10 years ago?
