The goal of this assignment is for you to begin developing your project
ideas so you will be prepared to present them to the class in our next
meeting.
Give a 4 sentence summary of your project, goals and what you plan to
achieve. Think of this as a short abstract.
Will this be a thesis or capstone?
If it is a thesis, what is your planned research contribution?
If it is a capstone, what is your planned contribution?
What conclusions do you hope to draw at the end?
What is your methodology (experiment, field study, user study,
enthnography)?
If you are building something, how do you plan to evaluate it?
Find at least three relevant, published pieces of research that relate
to your work. Give a brief (1-2 sentence) summary of each and then
describe (again in 1-2 sentences) how it relates to or sets the context
for your project.
