App Description
Our app is the UMD Ticket App brought to you by Mehul and Nuruddin. It’s designed to help students avoid getting parking, speeding, and camera tickets on the UMD Campus. The app contains four main pages: a login/sign-up page (once the user opens the app), a landing page that shows the map of the student's current location, settings, and a ticket history page. The student's setting page is where students can edit basic profile information like their user name and password, and edit basic settings like display and volume settings. It will also include a link to the student's ticket history page. On the ticket history page, the student can see all the tickets they have entered previously and have the option to add a ticket at the bottom. Once a student presses the add a ticket icon on the bottom right, a form will appear for them to fill out the information on the ticket. This information includes the ticket type (parking, speeding, or red light violation), ticket number, location, date, and time. After that, the student has the option to submit or cancel. The home landing page is the map of the student's given location. If they are on campus, the map will be filled with icons and details. The map will have traditional functionality such as pinching to zoom in and expanding to zoom out. There will be icons to indicate previous ticket locations and highlight speeding and traffic cameras. We will also indicate whether a location has a higher or lower chance of getting a ticket.
