I was born in Athens, Greece. I graduated from the National Technical University of Athens with a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Computer Science major). I graduated with a PhD degree in Computer Science from University of Maryland, at College Park on May 2010. My advisors were Yiannis Aloimonos and Cornelia Fermüller.
