dIRE sTRAITS

• Both Pink Floyd and Dire Straits took part in Knebworth Festival on June 30 1990. Dire Straits played with Eric Clapton on second guitar.

• Eric Clapton played with Dire Straits on a number of occasions. Mark Knopfler, leader of Dire Straits played second guitar on part of Eric Clapton's 1988 world tour.
